PostMetric Scholarship For Muslim/Christian Minorities
Government of India has Instituted Scholarship for Minority students who are pursuing their post metric courses. This is an attractive scholarship for the uplift of minorities. The scholarship amount varies from 3000 to 10000 depends on courses. The students who are pursuing their Higher secondary, graduate and post graduate can apply for this scheme
The application can be submitted to collegiate education(Kerala) department through your institution itself. The good news for girls is, 30% of the scholarship is reserved to them. The number of scholarships too quite good. So the chance of getting this scholarship is high.From kerala Muslim/Christian minorities will come under Minority category
Students who have secured at least 50% marks in previous final exam and whose parental income doesn't exceed 2 laks/annum can apply for this scholarship.

Wakf Board Scholarship for Muslim Students
Kerala State Wakf Board instituted Scholarship for brilliant Muslim students who are financially backward. Every year they are calling for application before jul 31. You can collect the application form either from the wakf board offices in Ernakulam/Kozhikode or download from Wakf board website

KVPY Scholarship For Brilliant Minds
Kishor vaigyanik protsahan Yojana(KVPY) is a program instituted by Department of Science and Technology, Govt.of India through Indian Institute of Science(IISC) to encourage students of science, engineering, and medical to pursue a research career.
If you are a students of XI,XII or Degree I or II year(Science, Engineering/Medical), you are eligible to apply. The stipend for XI,XII,Degree(Science) is 4000-7000 per month and for Engineering/Medical it is 5000-7000 per month, which is a great attraction.
The selection criteria is based on your marks(at least 75%) and you may need to do a project and present in Indian Institute of Science.

Why can't we call an education loan at an interest rate as low as 4% as a loan scholarship? When our economy is growing at a rate of 8% and an inflation of 11.5% certainly 4% is negligibly small. More over getting a tax benefit during your employment for the interest you are going to repay.
Lets look at the educational loan scheme from Kerala Backward classes development corporation(KSBCDC), which covers 90% of your education expenditure subject to a maximum of 50000 per year.
The applicants annual parental income should be less than 55000 INR and currently the loan is available for professional education
